CFP Energy Selects Previse Coral to support its growing carbon trading business
Previse Systems is pleased to announce that CFP Energy has selected the Previse Coral platform to support its environmental and carbon trading operations across European markets.
The implementation will provide support for trading and risk management of EU Allowances (EUAs), UK Allowances (UKAs), Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs) and a range of other environmental products, helping CFP Energy continue to scale its rapidly growing business with a modern, cloud-native platform.
Having successfully operated its own in-house trading solution for many years, CFP Energy reached a point where the ongoing investment required to maintain and enhance proprietary technology no longer aligned with the company's strategic priorities. As environmental markets continue to evolve, the business sought a platform that would allow its teams to focus on delivering value to customers rather than maintaining core trading infrastructure.
Following an evaluation of the market, Previse Coral was selected for its modern architecture, proven scalability and ability to evolve continuously alongside changing market requirements. Delivered as a cloud-native SaaS platform, Coral enables new functionality to be introduced through continuous releases, removing the need for disruptive upgrade projects while providing the performance and resilience demanded by today's environmental trading markets.
The decision was also influenced by the growing Coral Ecosystem, which gives customers access to an expanding library of Apps and integrations developed by Previse Systems, implementation partners and the wider customer community. This approach enables organisations to accelerate new capabilities while retaining the flexibility to adapt as their business requirements change.
