Senior Account Executive
About the Role
In this role you will be working as part of a small and diverse team to to participate in a team-selling environment, providing (prospective) customers with a primary point of contact within Previse.
You will assume the ownership for the assigned customer accounts, and you will drive the identification and qualification of opportunities as well as coordinate the entire sales process with the other team members.
In addition, you will maintain close relationships with customers with a focus on their ongoing satisfaction levels and reference-ability.
About You
You have experience in either
- energy trading and you are familiar with the processes and requirements of this business
or - in selling software in a B2B environment. Specific experience in selling software to energy (trading) companies or financial risk management software is a plus. You are comfortable and efficient in managing complex sales processes from marketing and lead generation to contract negotiation.
You are an efficient and open communicator, both orally and in writing. You have a solid command of English, and every other European language that you can transact business in is a plus – namely English, French and/or Spanish.
You take pride in work well done and you are motivated by success. You see the opportunities in joining a young company early on.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue and close new sales opportunities
- Build and maintain a robust network of contacts among prospective customers and partners of Previse Systems
- Travel across Europe to meet with (prospective) customers of Previse Systems, to the extent that this is possible
- Participate in conferences and trade shows
- Coordinate complex sales processes, specifically around tender processes, in collaboration with the other team members at Previse Systems
- Collaborate with marketing to define and execute marketing communication and campaigns
- Log relevant interactions and maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities in Previse Systems’ CRM system
- Continuously gather and manage knowledge about competitors
- Participate in a highly driven start-up team with a “can do and will do” attitude
- Think out of the box, contribute new ideas, challenge views and opinions by proposing better alternatives!

Travel
We have limited travel requirements at this stage, but since our customers and partners are located all over Europe, some travel will be necessary.
